The sixth event took place in two sessions. The first session was held in Virginia Library on the 1st of November 2024. The second session was held in Belturbet Town Hall, Cavan on the 7th of November.
The purpose of this event was to foster interaction between young and senior citizens through meaningful dialogue about EU democracy and active citizenship. The event aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of the European Union and introduce them to e-democracy tools that can facilitate their engagement. Ultimately, it sought to inspire greater willingness among attendees to participate in the 2024 EU Parliament elections. Guest speaker, Heather Humphreys, TD (MP), was in attendance.
