"Taking Action on Climate Change"

The sixth event took place at a school on the 11 th of November 2024. The purpose of the event was to inform about the project, and to give an overview of climate change, it’s causes and consequences, and how to counteract it. Special focus was set on the European Green Deal and the efforts of it. Furthermore, the event was supported by actively involving the participants in sustainable and easy-to-implement measures and actions to counteract climate change in everyday lives.

"Engaging in Democracy: EU, E-Democracy, and Social Media"

The fifth event took place in one of our branch offices on the 6 th of November 2024. The purpose of the event was to inform about the project and the European Union, and to improve the participants’ knowledge about e-democracy tools. Additionally, there was a review about the process of the 2024 European Parliament Elections and their importance. Furthermore, the purpose was to raise awareness of the role of social media and fake news in democratic processes. Participants were encouraged to actively participate in democratic processes and share the common European
values.

"Active Citizenship and the 2024 European Parliament Elections"

The fourth event took place at a school on the 6 th of June 2024 with overall 40 participants. The purpose of the meeting was to inform about the project and the European Union, and actively encourage participants to get involved in the 2024 European Parliament Elections. Special focus was set on how voting is connected to active citizenship, and a general awareness of national and European elections, and voting processes. Additionally, the purpose of the event was to create awareness of EU-topics and
self-responsibility.
