The fifth event took place in Breifne College, Cavan on the 4th of October 2024. The purpose of this event was to increase interaction between young and senior citizens, enhancing their understanding of the EU and democratic engagement.
It aimed to improve participants’ knowledge of e-democracy tools and motivate them to actively participate in the 2024 EU Parliament elections. By fostering intergenerational dialogue, the meeting sought to empower attendees to become more informed and engaged citizens. Guest speaker, Maria Walsh MEP, was in attendance.
